Not surprising, but our little J-Bird has made two good buddies in his new class. He is thriving and enjoying life. It has taken longer than I anticipated for him to find his gang. I'm glad he is in the gifted magnet because they seem to 'get' his sense of humor. Not everyone gets it as it is a bit mature for the average kid.
He hasn't been lucky enough to find a replacement for his BF in Wichita who not only was an avid reader and constantly challenged him, but she also had a wonderful imagination and liked to "play." They would set up Legos, characters and have a hey day playing with toys. Apparently no one here wants to "Play" with J-Bird and this is kind of sad. We will be going back to KS for fall break and I will make sure he has tons of time to "PLAY" with his RH BF.
