It was a super exciting day! Wichita Brother was in the neighborhood and swung by to see the new place on the Knobs and have lunch! It made my whole day yesterday knowing my awesome little brother was coming over! Who would have thought he'd be in my hood within the same month of me moving here???? AWESOME Possum! I got up super early to make lunch. Portland Sister and I mewled over some different recipes as Wichita Brother's wife is an amazing chef and he eats hand crafted, miraculous food all the time. (Hard to compete with someone who gives Pioneer Woman a run for her money!) I found a Guinness Beer Chili recipe on Pinterest and decided this was a safe bet---oddly enough it had mushrooms in it, but it was pretty good. If it has beer in it, can you possibly go wrong???

We had a great lunch! I assumed he would rush off, but we kept on chatting. It was great to be in the same room with someone who shares many of my personality traits of being from the paternal gene pool of my family. (Anger temper, opinionated and ALWAYS right!!!) He contemplated staying tonight, but the weather was not in our favor. He left, but with the promise he may come back on his way back to Wichita!
Tomorrow I will show the process on Gotham City. I'm pretty stoked about how it is turning out. Prince Charming (the hubby of America!) couldn't believe I had painted the WHOLE room and created the city. I know?!?! I am crazy, but what does a girl have to do when she is living the HobKnob Life.
Be good,
America
